Bakchang Fest
Vividly recall Mom's home-made bakchang; ori and nyonya style. Both were yummylicious and finger-to-toe-licking good. Despite the immobility of her right hand, she managed to wrap and tie the changs to perfection. Yeah! She's one heck of a talented lady. The only home-made changs I get to eat now are from C's aunt. On Monday I had kansui changs brought home by a housemate and now I'm having the savoury changs for lunch.

War
On my way to a launching this morning when I received a call from cousin sis. My signboard has been removed from her gate by someone. CLEAN CUT without trace. Must give accreditation to uknowho with gargantuan guts. QUEEN OF DISGUISE. SUBTLY DEADLY. Once threatened she will show no mercy. BETTER YOU DIE THAN I DIE. Her surviving motto. It was a total PEACE until she invaded. I'm not afraid of war but I'd prefer a fair fight. Oopps!! Looks like I'm the only gentleman eh. OK lah! I let my eyes go long long. See what kinda flowery stance you play.
I was fishing in the launching. TIRED. SLEEPY. Nothing got registered in my brain except getting more signboards. SIMPLE. CHEAP. DURABLE. EYE CATCHING. Twelve signboards on the way. I'm making them myself. Hehe!! A big thank you and appreciation to TSL for her thoughfulness of designing the words and numbers. I admit I'm damn lousy in drawings :P Will get the stencil done in the morning. CRUCIAL.
Rainy night. Excellent time for ribena vodka. WoOt! Am I turning alcoholic or what?

Afraid of death?
A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."
Very quietly the doctor said "I don't know."
"You don't know? You believe in GOD and yet you don't know what is on the other side?"
The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came the sound of scratching and whining. As he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient the doctor said "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death but I do know one thing.. I know my Master is there and that's enough."

More signboards were found hanging on KT's main gate but he did not get any call from these negotiators. For
Had another great volleyball game. Met another national player; tall, agile and powderful spike. Entirely different league huh. I still have long way to learn. Back to the basic. Starting to get a hang on the rotation but I need to forge more understanding with the team. Bravo Groovy. Indeed a woman of your words. *tabik*
Home alone. Housemates were either on vacation or back to hometown. A PURRfect time for chores and laundry. Tarak orang kacau. *grin* Despite knowing the importance of recharging my battery for Sunday, I still choose to complete these tasks. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Can deemed kaotim as soon as the idea is conceived. MOOD NGAM SEMUA JALAN.
Met C and Ad prior to my appointments. Sorry dudes! No time for breakfast with you. The sun was scorching hot; ideal for drying my laundry. Two viewings, an agreement delivery, follow-ups and hunting. Drop dead tired. Screwdriver and Ribena Vodka made my

Shopping
This weekend will be full of trainings; touching on the legal aspects of wealth creation, protection, conservation and distribution. Also learning the theories, practical applications and feasible solutions so that I'd be able to assist my clients in future if such needs arise. Made an adhoc decision to go shopping after training since I ain't worried about transportation. FIRST STOP: KINOKUNIYA. Gotta check out some books I wanna buy. SUBSEQUENTLY: ISETAN AND PARKSON. Checking out working shirts, pants and short sleeve shirts. The latter would be for weekends and property viewing. Am contemplating of getting several pants from Dockers. Perhaps after training tomorrow. Hehe!!
Guess I'm pretty much a

DCTPO
The day has come.. finally. DC Team Power Outing ; purely teambuilding and fun without pep talksseminars. Destination: Fraser's Hill. I'd have joined KT to Cameron Highlands but agency activity prevails. I was the last to arrive before the coach departed. Everyone was in their finest mood and I felt a great source of energy reverberated within the bus itself. Stopped at Kuala Kubu Bharu for a short break before the spiralling journey began. The road was steep and winding; its narrowness amplified our risks multiple folds. The sight of erosions and land slides on the terrains was terrifyinga little scary but the greenery of the tropical forest and the captivating view of Selangor Dam soothed our fear. Reached Pine Resort safely for lunch. Had some rest before treasure hunt starts. The weather was cooling and the air was fresh. I love the gust of chilling breeze wrapping itself over me; carressing every inch of my skin. Taking away with it the worries, stress and pressure of hectic city life.
Watched dvd; Hostel; a gruesome and gory movie inspired by true stories directed by Quentin T. May wanna get Cabin Fever too *sadistic grin* BBQ dinner sucked big time. Only edible dishes were fresh coleslaw and bbq prawn. Downing red wines were fantabulous; great combi with foods and weather. Had an enjoyable time with the team building games especially the candle blowing and IQ test. Whilst some headed to so-called town for mamak, some back to room for early rest, some singing, some gambling.. I headed to the wine keeper's room. Hehe!! I can't resist having wine and I do not feel cold eventhough wearing sport shorts since touch down. MAIN: WINE. SECONDARY: BONDING. Adjourned to aunties-uncles ginrummy session only to have my stomach filled. Chatted with FL and KH before hitting the sack. FL fell into deep sleep as soon as his head rested on the pillow. AWESOME. His snoring kept me awake for hours.had the urge of slithing his throat with a surgeon knifeFARK YOU BOSS .l. I'm already damn exhausted. Walked out to the balcony. ALONE. 4AM. HEAVY MIST. 100% TRANQUILLITY.
Few more rounds of games after breakfast whilst a handful were still sleeping soundly like a baby. Rented a bike and toured around with KH, CH and Loong. The weather was really nice lah. Sure damn syiok if a girl's pillion riding and hugging me. Cooling wind front but warm back. WooHoo!! Cleaned up, lousy light lunch and departed. Think I was asleep 80% of the entire journey back to city despite the rocky ride. I've collected some nice pine cones and plants but the whole bag got crushed badly by heavy luggages. Dear Devil, please do not get infuriated and send me to hell ya *trembling*
To surmise; dreadful journey, cooling weather, fresh air, captivating scenery and greenery, lousy foods, fun-filled games, good bonding and tasty wines.

Had dimsum brunch with C and Ad prior to BANGAU viewing. Missed the char siew and siew yuk earlier; else will not order so many fishmaws. Worthy of the RM spent after staff disc. FRESH. DELICIOUS. Viewing began at BANGAUs; then PPRIMA, TEMPUA, BAYAN and BK before returning to BANGAU for second viewing. VALUE FOR MONEY.. only for u, M2.
Mobile battery flat. Bubbly MQ dropped by just to gimme her autograph for the Supreme 3-11 minus the magical 16-digit. Brader Kev waited for 1 solid hour. SORRY MAN!! Mini La-Sallian gathering sorta. Bought a DVD player for Andy. Gotta split early as I need to tapao vegetarian food for sis. Obviously there was nothing 'edible' at cousin JL's house warming for her. I understand eating vegies are healthy but I'll limp without meat. NO poRK NO faRK. Reached there in time to catch the guys sending Uncle P home. DRUNK. Had a great time with my maternal relatives. Haven't met some of them in years although we do keep in touch. Visitation is getting lesser after the demise of Granny, Uncle C and Mom. Nevertheless, I still make it a point to visit some of them during CNY as some will be back with their in-laws. TIMING. EFFORTS. WILLINGNESS.
Got abit tipsy after some beers and wines. Have not seen my aunts and cousins drinking happily together in years. The very last time was at my place, BBQ 01052004. Gonna plan for something again.. surely.
I'm elated I can help C and Ad; be part of their various stages and moments in life. So as her cousin, MQ, protection and medical fund for a start. I'm proud of cousin JL's achievements. We all are. Real life example of a woman of substance; from rags to riches. One of my joyest day this year. HAppy + maBUK.. I miss this feeling. I REALLY DO.
