Dream Villa

Was invited to my boss' husband, Dato X's private birthday party last Saturday hosted at their home. When I given the address I chuckled to myself.. "Oh! A bungalow". Since I do not know the area well I gotta check with some friends; plus the map. Equipped with a bottle of wine I embarked on an event which had eventually made an impact in my life.

The journey uphill was slow as I took my own sweet time gazing on the bungalows along the way. I've been to another bungalow in the same vicinity early this year; belonging to a director of a public listed company worths RMxx mil. So I was kidda expecting a decent bungalow with pool, garage and beautiful well-kept landscape.

Dato was welcoming his guests when I pulled up. After greeting him and handed him the wine I was ushered to the tables at the terrace 15 metres away. When I reached the terrace I was flabbergasted.. not by stunning chicas but the breathtaking night scenery overlooking prominent landmarks to as far as the Shah Alam Mosque. After chilling myself with wine and admiring the scenic horizon despite light drizzle, I joined the entourage in his arty self-designed 3-storey home. Guest hall and kitchen on the ground floor; attic, lounge and guest room on the first whilst family hall and rooms on the lower ground. All tastefully and intricately designed by Dato himself; a qualified architect, estimated market value is at least two fold the former bungalow I've visited.

A simple international fusion dishes with local kuih-muih desserts and generous flow of wine; seated on the breezy terrace with spectacular views surrounded by friendly colleagues and Dato's immediate well-to-do-but-humble families. I've never thought I could enjoy this even for a mere few hours as I only get to see it in HK dramas; i.e elegant lifestyles with posh seaside villas or hilltop mansions.

The moment I left the bungalow, I know I'm a changed person. It's about time to revisit my goals and missions.

Scary catdog

My son has been very restless lately. If I'm not mistaken, it's shagging timemating season again. Animal life is nothing more than instincts; for survival and mating. Take my son for example. His staple meal is mainly dog biscuits, followed by rice, meats and bones. Comfy kennelcage and big compound to lepak. Pleasant neighbourhood to roam esp nearby park. His duties are simple; wait for me to return from work.. waggy waggy!! play catch with me.. woof woof!! and accompany me when I lepak at the porch at night. See.. nonid to rob and kill. Not simple meh?

My worry is that he is not fiercetoo friendly. So always kena bullied by other dogs esp those street-wise-gengster-berkumpulan type. Sure he'll kena kao kao one day. My prediction came true when he returned home limping last Friday. Bite marks all over his legs, a deep gash on his left swollen leg and a badly bitten deep-to-the-bone tail tip. These injuries did not deter him from gallivanting again. Next night back with more injuries and a deep hole on his right tight. This time I saw two 4-legged-gengster in my porch. MUTTAFAKAR!! I was so pissed I hurled a stone but missed. So tempted to chase with my bike but aborted coz was drizzling. You fuckers should pray I don't see you on the street. Else, you gonna be very very sorry. NEVA-EVAR PISS OFF A PROWLING TIGER. I'll protect my loved ones.. AT ALL COST.

Sick cat

Recuperating at home; from flu and sore throat. Since I'm not working (but my mobile didn't stop ringing) and do not have the habit of afternoon nap, I decided to watch some DVDs I borrowed from C earlier.

Love Actually; a beautiful movie about love and relationship beyond superficial and rudimental mean.
Love rocks on
Love is elementary
Love American style
Love unspoken
Love at work
Love is awkward
Love lasts a lifetime
Love and politics
Love as a second language
"Love actually is always around". What say you?

GreenGold Finger

Been reviving a long forgotten passion lately; gardening. Vividly recall the time shared with my paternal grandpa in his garden. Variety of fruits and vegies; long beans, sweet potato, lady's finger, papaya, soursop, ciku, jackfruit, mango and rambutan. When I was young, the crazy bunch (siblings and me) will tag along grandpa for an evening stroll in the neighbourhood. Sometimes he'll bring home some dying plants thrown away by neighbours. Under his green fingers, these plants miraculously survived and been given a second life. Hopefully I get to inherit his gifted touch; if not his gardening knowledge and skills.

Am planting Fittonia and Peperomia at home; the former near my workstation and the latter in the living hall. Peperomia's growing fast so I've transferred bigger shrubs to larger pot whilst trying to propogate younger shrubs via stem cuttings. Guess what.. I did it today at 2 freaking AM while everyone was sleeping soundly. Old habits die hard. Yeah! I admit *smug*

Frequency vs Creativity

THE 2005 Durex Global Sex survey on 5,409 people, aged between 16 and 55, revealed that Malaysians have sex on average, 83 times a year, followed by Singapore (73 times) and Japan (45 times).
Surveys (here and here) were commissioned by Pfizer and Durex but both revealed different results. However, these results ain't matter much to me but where Malaysians choose to do it had me ponder. How bold and adventurous would I be with my precious? A big bad-ass question mark indeed.
